A Sad Accident

Harold Lafferty seven years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lafferty was instantly killed at his home three miles south west of Colo Friday evening.

The men were uploading corn with a corn elevator and the little boy was running around. In some way his clothing caught in the tumbling rod and with each revolution his head beat against the castings. The machine was stopped as soon as possible and medical assistance was called at once but life was gone before the doctors arrived. Harold was a bright and attractive little boy, the eldest of four children.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon. Interment was in the Collins cemetery.
