RICHARD WILLIAMS

Richard Williams, one of the substantial and much respected farmers of Story county, died Wednesday evening at the Sanitarium, where he had been in declining health for some time and his death had been expected. He was born in Ohio July 23, 1849 and died at Nevada, Iowa, August 21, 1912, aged 63 years and 29 days. He leaves a son and two married daughters, Jesse Williams on the home farm north of Collins, Mrs J. C. McCord in Kossuth county, and Mrs. John Lafferty, south of Colo. The funeral is conducted this afternoon from the old homestead, where Mr. Williams lived for many years.
