Lisa M. Kling was born on March 27, 1957 in Des Moines to Floyd “Fritz” and Bonny (Erickson) Erickson. She married Roger Kling on June 16, 1979. He died March 29, 1986. Lisa worked for many years for the Ballard Community School District. She loved to going shopping, interacting with students and staff at Ballard; but most important to her was taking care of her family.

Lisa died July 8, 2017 at Madrid Home in Madrid at the age of 60.

Lisa is survived by her daughters, Ashley (John) Vaughn of Huxley and Miranda (Nick) Stein of Portsmouth, IA; her mother, Bonny of Huxley; four grandchildren, Daxton, Johnny, Lily and Kase and three brothers, Tim (Sue) Erickson of Slater, Mark (Sharyn) Erickson of Huxley and Mike Erickson of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fritz and husband, Roger Kling.
