Obituary from Foster Funeral & Cremation Center, Webster City, Iowa.

Gleneva Ades, 86, of Ames, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Israel Family Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Gina Spohnheimer officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home.

Gleneva LaVonne Ades, the daughter of Glen and Jessie Hill Faulkner was born August 26, 1930 on a farm near Webster City. She attended Webster City Schools. On May 7, 1950 she married Robert Ades in Webster City. Gleneva worked at various place over the years, including Land O'Lakes and Uncle B's Bagel Plant, both located in Ellsworth; and the Hawkeye Mink CO-OP in Jewell. Gleneva and her husband resided at Little Wall Lake for 30 years before retiring to Boone. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2008. She currently resided at The Rose of Ames.

Gleneva is survived by her children, Sandra (John) Christensen of Ames, Bruce (Madonna) Ades of Westside, Randy Ades and companion Deb Sargent of Ames, Marsha Watts and fiance Lee Roybal of Humboldt; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marble Pond and Sharon Apfel both of Waterloo; and sister-in-law, Hildegard Faulkner of Waterloo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, Garrett, Merlyn, Larry; and sister, Velma Hollingshead.
