STORY CITY WOMAN DEAD.
Mrs. Nathan Hamre Stricken With Pneumonia While Visiting
Story City, Dec. 4--While visiting the hoe of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Johnson in Marshalltown, Mrs. Nathan Hamre of Story city was taken sick of pneumonia. She was removed to the Red Cross hospital Wednesday where she died of pneumonia Sunday morning at 1:30. Mrs. Hamre and infant son Arthur went to Marshalltown a week ago on [--]day. The latter is seriously sick at the Red Cross hospital.
Mrs. Hamre's maiden name was Julia Beatrice Skogerboe. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Skogerboe of this place where she was born April 29, 1899. She bcame the wife of Nathan Hamre at Des Moines. In [-----] to the husband, baby son and [-----], three brothers and four sisters survive her. They are Mrs. Theodore Frandson, Goodell, and Alma, Norman, Sherman, Grace, Irene and Ernest Skogerboe of Story City.
Funeral services were held at the [----]ins & Estel parlors at 9 o'clock [----]day forenoon by Rev. A. J. Anders [----] the body was brought to this city [----] the funeral is to be held on [----]day. Burial will be at this place.
