Death of Ed. Niskern.
Friday morning August 30, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Niskern received the sad news that their only son, Ed. Niskern had died at his home in Des Moines. Mr. and Mrs. Niskern had been called to Des Moines by his illness but it was thought that he was improving and the returned home. The remains were brought to Colo for burial. The funeral service was held in the M. E. church September 1st conducted by Rev. J. S. Boreman. Ed. Nistern was born near Des Moines about 41 years ago, lived for a number of years with his parents. Later made his home in Des Moines, he having a position on the C. G. W. Railway. He leaves his wife and one son and his parents to mourn. The community extend their sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
