The remains of Jerry Acheson reached here Wednesday night and the funeral will be conducted from the Brethren church on Friday by Rev. Day of Loring. Mr. Acheson was an esteemed pioneer resident of Washington township, Polk county, till he removed to California three or four years ago. He died at Santa Barbara, California, July 25th.
