Mrs. Ed. Moffit, formerly Miss Sallie Hoggatt of Ames, is reported as having died early Thursday morning at Long Beach, California, to which place the family removed from Ames two or three years ago. The body will be brought back to Ames for burial.

The body of Mrs. Moffit, who died recently at Long Beach, California, arrived Monday evening at Ames, and the funeral was held there in the Congregational church Tuesday afternoon. The body was accompanied by Mr. Moffitt and his son, Lucian of Long Beach and his daughter, Mrs. Harry White, of El Paso, Texas. Lucien Moffitt was over to Nevada Tuesday night the guest of Bernice Soper.
