MAXWELL

Sad and Sudden Death

On Monday afternoon while our esteemed citizen, James M. Olinger, was superintending the moving of a monument in the Maxwell cemetery, he made the remark that he believed he had forgotten his trowel, and dropped to the ground. His associates immediately raised him up and found that life had fled. Heart failure was the supposed cause. Mr. Olinger was a pioneer citizen, loved and respected by a large circle of relatives and friends, our present township assessor, a prominent officer in the C. P. church and a member of Social Lodge I. O. O. F. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon and interment will be in the Maxwell cemetery. Further particulars will be given in the next issue.
