Funeral of Mrs. Bailey.

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Bailey, whose death was chronicles in Wednesday's issue, was held at the M. E. church Thursday afternoon and conducted by Rev. R. E. Shaw assisted by Dr. Bunce. The burial took place in the Nevada cemetery. A goodly number of old time friends and neighbors were present to testify their esteem for the Christian worth and fortitude manifested in the life of the departed. Relatives and intimate friends in attendance out of the city were as follows: Mrs. Mary Reynolds, a sister, and her son Alton of Newton; John Morgan, a brother of Burnside; Mrs. Anna McClelland of Des Moines and Mrs. R. E. Tennant of Lehigh, nieces, and a stepson, Walbridge Bailey of Manning.

Mr. Frank Heizer and his brother Charles desire herein to express their grateful appreciation of all kindness and sympathy shown their mother during her long and fatal illness.

Frank Heizer who has been in the city several days on account of the death of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Bailey expects to leave the first of the week for him home at Ledyard. His two daughters Wanda and Alice, whose home has been with their grandmother, will accompany him and become permanent members of his household.
