Death of Mrs. Ostling

Mrs. Andy Ostling died at her home in Slater Thursday, the 26th following a surgical operation and an illness of one week. She had rallied from the operation and made gains which promised entire recovery, when suddenly, Thursday evening, she suffered a sinking spell and death speedily resulted. Rev. Barnes conducted her funeral service at St. Luke's church on Sunday, and interment was in the Slater cemetery. She is survived by her husband and four children. Her age was fifty-five. She was born in Sweden, came to America in 1872, was married in the following year at Newton to Andy Ostling, lived afterward in Newton, Boone, Sheldahl and Slater. She was faithful in the duties of home and church and dies regretted.
