Mrs. John Whorton, formerly of this county, died at her home in Colfax and was brought to Cambridge by rail on yesterday (Wednesday) for the funeral service and laid to rest in the Center Grove Cemetery by loving friends. Mrs. Whorton was the mother of Mrs. Ed. Warren of Center Grove. The funeral was preached by the Rev. A. Knoll, pastor of the M. E. church.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Ed. Warren" was Alice Margaret Wharton, wife of Jacob Edward "Ed" Warren.
