From Nevada Representative March 10, 1909

A letter received by Sheriff F. C. Warrick from officials of Grangerville, Wyoming, announced there the death, March 1, 1909 of Jas. L. Hemstock, and makes inquiry in regard to the friends here of the deceased. The deceased was the younger brother of Thomas and G. W. Hemstock of this county and left the county some twenty or more years ago and the state from Clinton a little later for the wilds of the far west. He has not revisited the county since that time and definite knowledge of his residence and activities have much of the time been lacking. G. W. Hemstock has written for further and fuller particulars of his brother's death.
