Miss Lynne Handeland of Cambridge died at her home there on Wednesday of consumption. Her funeral is held today.

Miss Lynne Handeland, aged twenty years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Handeland, died Wednesday at the home of her parents in Elkhart, her funeral was conducted at the Lutheran church in Cambridge Friday by Rev. Shefveland, and her grave was made in the cemetery at Cambridge beside that of her own mother, who passed on when the daughter was a babe. Miss Handeland was born in Norway, grew up in Cambridge, Iowa, and there graduated from the high school, a girl of fine promise whose admirable qualities made her much beloved. But consumption fastened upon her and for a year and a half was battled with. Last spring her parents removed to Minneapolis hoping she would benefit from the change of climate, but in the autumn they came back disheartened and settled in Elkhart. She was their only child and they sorrow deeply. She had many friends in Nevada who were strongly attached to her. Of this number Miss Mary Larson attended her obsequies in Cambridge.
