Mrs. Betsy Sherman Foster died September 26 at the home of her grandson, Frank L. Carpenter near Ames, and her remains were interred in the Nevada cemetery on the 29th. Mrs. Foster, with her husband, Calvin Foster, lived in Nevada from 1868 to 1884, then removed to Stuart, where Mr. Foster passed away six years ago, and subsequently Mrs. Foster resided with the grandson at whose home she died.
