Death of T. W. Brown

Truman W. Brown was born in Maryland City, Md., August 21, 1825. He was married in Nov. 1846, and to this union were born three sons, J. C. Brown of Chicago, T. F. Brown of Alliance, Nebraska and Dr. J. A. Brown of Zearing.

Mr. Brown united with the Christian church in 1898 to which he remained true until his death at the home of his son, Dr. J. A., in Zearing at seven o'clock, Monday, June 29, 1908 aged 82 years, 4 months and 8 days.

A short funeral service was conducted by Pastor Salmon of the Christian church at the house, assisted by Pastor Mullen of the Evangelical church on Tuesday, June 30, after which the relatives departed on the afternoon train for Alliance, Nebraska, where the body will be laid to rest beside that of his wife who preceded him in August of 1901.
