The funeral of Walker Stone was held Tuesday afternoon February 4, at the home of his son-in-law William Warren. Rev. J. B. White conducting the service. Mr. White was a native of Litchfield, Connecticut, and was almost seventy-nine years old at his death. He has lived in Maxwell quietly and worthily for the past ten years and his wife and six children survive him.
