A telegram was received this morning by Bert Child announcing the death of his aunt, Mrs. Charity Lawrence at her home in Peoria, Illinois. Mrs. Lawrence was the last of the daughters of the later Uncle David Child, and of the sisters of the late Capt. George Child. Smith Child of Dunlap and Roy Child of Ames are the only remaining members of the numerous Child family.
