ROLAND ROCKETS

Death of Hans Olson

Hans Olson aged about 70 years died at his home here Saturday of paralysis of the heart. When first coming to this county from Illinois, he bought and located on the farm five miles south of Roland, known as the Oscar Thompson farm. here the family resided for a number of years eventually selling out and moving to town where he has since lived. He was a just and upright citizen, honored and respected by a large acquaintance. He leaves a large family of grown up children, all of whom were present at the funeral Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Olson, her two younger sons, Bert and Charley, reside here, one daughter, Mrs. Josiah Twedt, lives southeast of town. In Illinois reside the other sons and daughters, Tom, Joe and Hector. Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Ole Inger and Mrs. Sam Inger. The three sons and Mrs. Ole Inger formerly lived here in Roland.
