OBITUARY

Death of J. M. King

James M. King, an old resident of Maxwell died Friday, at his home in that city. He had suffered from poor health for a long time and had been confined to the house for nearly a year. He leaves a wife and children. He was a man of worth and influence.

MAXWELL

Mr. James M. King, a pioneer resident of this place, passed away Friday morning. Mr. King had been in poor health for number of years, but had suffered insentley the last few weeks of his life. He was one of Maxwell's earliest residents, and was always ready to help the good of the town. The funeral was held at the home Monday and was attended by a large gathering of friends, relatives and citizens. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn his death.
