ZEARING

Death of Mrs. Gilmore

Mrs. John Gilmore Sr. living for many years on the east of town, died last Monday about 2:30 p. m. of cancer of the stomach. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2:15 p. m. from the Church of Christ, by Rev. Lewis, after which interment was made in the Zearing cemetery. Mrs. Gilmore was the wife of John Gilmore, Sr., who came to this county in the fall of 1856 and has resided on his farm northeast of town ever since. She leaves to mourn, her husband, five sons and two daughters besides a host of relatives and friends. He who comforts all be very near the bereaved family.
