KILLED IN MONTANA

Frank Elvin Victim of Runaway

Frank Elvin, son of "Pat" Elvin and member of a family well and favorably known in Story county, was hurt in a runaway Monday of last week at or near Glendive, Montana, and he died on Friday morning. His funeral was held at Grand Junction, Iowa, on Monday of this week, his brother John and wife of Nevada being among those in attendance. The deceased was about twenty-eight years of age, and he leave a wife and three small children. The family moved to Milford township of Greene county about eleven years ago, and Frank has until recently been living at Jefferson. This spring, however, he emigrated to Montana an took up a claim, and his wife and children had joined him there only within a week or two before the accident. His widow will return to Montana and hold down the claim he had taken. His death is a very sad one indeed and it will excite the sympathy of all his old friends and acquaintances.
