OBITUARY

DEATH OF OLE CHRISTIAN

Ole Christian one of the most prominent and successful farmers of the county, died Saturday at his home near the north side of Milford township, and his funeral occurs at Roland today. He was born in Norway December 1, 1842, and came with his parents to America when he was four years old. He grew up in Illinois, married there, came to Story county in 1879, and here raised a large family and grew rich. He was a brother of Charles Christian of Roland and of the late John Christian. He leaves his wife who is an invalid, and seven sons and three daughters.
