OBITUARY

H. O. Norton Dies at Zearing

H. O. Norton Sr., a well known resident of Zearing, died November 30th at the home of his daughter, Mrs M. C. Belding His age lacked but a day of being seventy-five years. Mr. Norton had been a resident of Zearing since 1881. He had been in failing health for some time, and confined to his bed during the past two weeks. He is survived by four sons, H. M., John H. and N. H. Norton of Zearing, and George M. Norton, of South Dakota; by three daughter, Mrs. May Thatcher, of Cripple Creek, Colo., Mrs. Lon Wicks, of Union, and Mrs. Belden. Four brothers and three sisters also survive. They are J. D. and Levi Norton, of Zearing, John of Marathon and Harrison, of Earlville, Ill. and Lydia Agnew and Sarah Terry, of Earlville and Mrs. Emma Craver, of Nevada.
