Along with his brother, Gene, he was half of the Hanson Brothers Masonry business for 41 years. Richard was a a master brick and block layer. He was extremely kind and even during his illness never complained and was always smiling and teasing the little ones of the family. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends talking about the old days. He was a wonderful father and friend. His family will keep his loving memory in their hearts. He loved playing cards with old friends and hunting and fishing with his sons and family.

We thank everyone for their prayers and love throughout Richard’s illness. We also want to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Mary Greeley oncology floor for their amazing care for Richard, and to the nurses and staff at the Israel Hospice House for their compassionate support for Richard and family.
