Dawn Renee Sporleder, 55, of Altoona died October 11, 2016 at Taylor House in Des Moines.
Renee was born on May 7, 1961 in Knoxville, Iowa to Donald and Dawnetta (Swain) Pitt. She married Patrick Sporleder in 1993. Renee worked for DMACC and for many years at Heartland Agri Supply in Ames. She was also co-owner and vice president of Des Moines Portable Welding Co. Renee and Pat have lived in Altoona for the past 14 years.

She is survived by her husband, Pat of Altoona; a daughter, Kaitlyn Sporleder of Minneapolis, MN; her parents, Donald and Dawnetta Pitt of Marshalltown and a sister, Terri Murray of Johnston.

A celebration of Renee’s life will be Saturday October 15 from 1 to 4 at her home, 722 Maplewood Ct. in Altoona.
