Mrs. H. W. Swank, known in past years in Ames church circles, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. A. Graham in Portland, Ore. Mrs. Swank taught Sunday school classes at the Methodist church here. She is survived by sons Dr. E. R Swank of Des Moines and Harry Swank of Boone and her daughter. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Portland. Mrs. Swank would have been 91 years of age Saturday. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. H. Swank, in 1936.
