Ira Parmalee of Collins sho woks for W. E. Fertig of that place, was killed last Monday night January 19 while going home from attending the show. He was riding horse back and the horse was also killed. The body was not found for several hours later. The deceased was 22 years old and a native of Illinois. His body was sent to Illinois for burial.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Death records list his parents as Moses Parmalee and Mary Ann Morgan. His burial place is listed as Campbell, Illinois.
