Dr. E. A. Rawson, formerly of Slater, died Monday afternoon at Madrid, where for the past few years he has resided. The deceased was for many years one of the best known and most respected citizens of his quarter of this county, and incident to a rather extended service as member of the pension examining board he was a frequent visitor in Nevada. His death will be very much regretted by very numerous friends.
