She and husband Roger also developed and marketed metal templates to aid cutting quilt pieces. She was an alumna of Iowa State University, Oberlin College, and Rutgers University; she studied English, home economics, and psychology.

A memorial dinner is planned for family and friends on Saturday, June 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flemington Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 10 East Main St., Flemington, N.J.
