Jerry Allen Boothe was born on October 19, 1960 in Des Moines to Darrell and Dorothy (Herring) Boothe. He married JoAnn Ullestad on April 30, 1991. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing, Auctions, being with his family, old classic movies and all animals especially his dogs.

Jerry passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames at the age of 55.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn of Story City; his parents, Darrell and Dorothy Boothe of Clive; and two brothers, Douglas Boothe of Norwalk and Michael Boothe of Overland Park, KS.; his father-in-law, Vernon Ullestad of Story City; brother-in-law, Rod (Sue) Ullestad of Boone; sisters-in-law, Pat (Carter) Holman of Des Moines, Pam (Craig) Amenson of Ankeny and Rita (Mark) Gilbertson of Ames; and his nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Marjorie Ullestad.
