J. C. Addison is Dead at 69

James C. Addison, 69, of 3733 Crocker St., died at his home Friday of a heart condition.

Services will be at 12 noon Monday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Mr. Addison was born at Maxwell, For 30 years he operated an accounting firm in Des Moines. He was a graduate of the State University of Iowa and served as a first lieutenant in World War I.

Mr. Addison was past national president of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and was a member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of C.P.A., Waveland Park Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, the Shrine, National Sojourners, Elks Club, American Legion and the Des Moines Club.

Survivors are his wife, Irene; two sons, James, Jr., of Miami, Fla., and William of Washington, D. C., and one grandson.

The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Pallbearers at the funeral home will be Don Studer, William Pollard, L. L. Ressler, H. Burns Davison, E. N. Romano and Lloyd Bock. ~ Newspaper Unknown, possibly the Des Moines Register and Tribune, Des Moines, Iowa
