ANNIE KNUTSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Knutson, 91, Story City, were held from Elim Lutheran Church in Randall, Dec. 17 with the Rev. William A. Gregerson officiating. Burial was in the Mamrelund Cemetery, east of Randall.

Mrs. Knutson was born April 21, 1878 in Stavanger, Norway. At the age of 18, she. came to the United States to the farming community north of Roland. She married Lewis Knutson, who preceded her in death in 1924. Since May 30, 1966. Mrs. Knutson had been a resident of Story City Bethany Manor, where she died Dec. 14.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Amoa and Andrew Knutson, both of rural Radcliffe, Mrs. Helen Van Horn of Iowa City and Mrs. Charles Chapman of Denver, Colo.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a sister, Inga Valen of Stavanger, Norway. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Knutson was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
