Mrs. Alderman To Be Buried Monday P.M.
Mrs. Martha Alderman, 80 years old, died at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home, 208 South Duff Avenue, after an illness of a week with pneumonia which developed into influenza.
Funeral services will be held Monday at ____ 3 o'clock at the Duckworth Funderal home, and will be conducted by the Rev. R. M. Shipman, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be at the Ames cemetery.
Mrs. Alderman was married in 1865 in Polk county to J. P. Alderman and come with her husband to Ames in 1879. Mrs. Alderman died in 1918. Seven children survive: Vinton Alderman, P. S. Alderman, and J. B. Alderman, all of Ames, Mrs. Alice Redenbaugh of Ames, Mrs. L. O. Yant of Des Moines and Mrs. J. E. Morgan of Pipestone, Minn.
