Mrs. Fred I. Banks, who died a her home five miles north of Nevada, on Friday night, 3rd inst., was buried in the cemetery near Elwell on Sabbath afternoon, Rev. R. A. Ferguson conducting the funeral services. She was brought up in the neighborhood of Elwell, and left many friends, who lament her early death. She was the daughter of Mr. Chris. Olinger, who now lives on the Scott farm north of Nevada. Her husband is a nephew of A. K. Banks of Nevada. She leaves a babe only a few days old....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mary Frances (Olinger) Banks was the daughter of Jackson Christian "Chris" Olinger and Mary Ann Cline. She was the wife of Alfred I. "Fred" Banks. The "babe" left behind was Mildred F. Banks who was born 1 April 1891 and died 1 September 1891.
