Barbara Randall of Ames, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. A gathering of friends and family will be 4-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way.

Barbara was born April 12, 1939 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Leon and Melvina Small. She married Frank Randall and the couple later divorced, moving to Ames in February of 1970. She worked for the City of Ames as a clerk in the utility services department, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed celebrating her 70th birthday for many years, trips to the Longaberger Basket Factory and her red chili pepper collectibles. She loved shopping, spending time with her family, and traveling to the big blue skies of Colorado.
Barbara is survived by her children; Jeannie Randall of Ames and Charles (Stephanie) Randall of Longmont, Colorado; grandchildren Christopher (Anne) Brown of Flagstaff, Arizona, Aja Randall of Orting, Washington, Benjamin and Noah Randall of Longmont, Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Commodore Small.
