Langdon Drake, after a protracted illness, died at his residence Sunday, February 23rd, 1890. He was a native of Licking County, Ohio and has resided in Story county thirty two years. His age was 65 years. He leaves a wife and four children, two of them married, to mourn his death. He is spoken of by those who knew him as a hard working worthy citizen. His funeral takes place today at the Evangelical church in the Mullen settlement. The exercises will be conducted by Rev. Hahn of Iowa Centre.
