From Nevada Representative February 6, 1889

--Will Hopkins, the young son of P. W. Hopkins, of Colo, who died recently in the west was buried Saturday in the Catholic cemetery near Nevada.

We desire to publicly thank our many kind friends who so willingly proffered their sympathy and aid in our bereavement and who so tenderly assisted us to lay to rest our darling Willie. May God in his infinite goodness bless each and every one of them. And when it falls to them to mourn, as it must--the loss of their loved ones, may the All wise father comfort them, as he has comforted us with the dear assurance that our loss is his eternal gain and that he goes to meet the dear ones gone before where sickness and sorrows are unknown.--MR. and MRS. P. W. HOPKINS.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John Willis "Will" Hopkins was the son of Peter W. Hopkins and Elmira Hopkins. He died in California 19 January 1889.
