Died.

Died, at the residence of his father, George Danskin, near Colo, June 1, 1887, of typhoid fever, after an illness of about two weeks, James D. Danskin, in the 28th year of hsi age. One of our best young men has early fallen. He was of pure principles, and of generous and noble disposition. His loss will be sorely felt, but his friends have the consolation that he died in full hope of a better life. He was buried on Friday afternoon, June 3d, in the beautiful cemetery in Colo. Funeral services were held in the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. R. A. Ferguson, assisted by Revs. Welker and Gilchrist. Appropriate music was furnished by the choir. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their great loss.

....The remains of James D. Danskin, who died after a short illness were buried here Friday. The funeral was very largely attended, being one of the largest for many years, which proved that he had many friends and few enemies. His relatives have the sympathy of all....
