Obituary.

Died, Nov. 7th, Mrs. Ellen A. How, wife of C. How, Aged 68 years. She was born and raised in Connecticut, where in 1838 they were married. In 1855 they emigrated to Illinois where they remained nine years. In 1868 they removed to Iowa and settled on a farm in Washington township. Here they remained until the present fall when they went to reside with their son-in-law, Mr. Born in Franklin township, where she died. For 49 years she was an acceptable member of the M. E. Church. For many year she had been in feeble health, and after enduring much suffering she quietly and peacefully passed away. Her last utterance was "I am going home," She was buried at the Pleasant grove cemetery. Her funeral was attended by her pastor, J. Fegtley.
