From Nevada Representative April 21, 1886

--Mrs. W. P. Payne received word Thursday of the death in Jefferson county, New York, of her mother, with whom she had spent the winter and whom she had left two weeks before apprarently convalescing.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. W. P. Payne" was Adeline Maria Brown, wife of William Pierce Payne. She was the daughter of Orville Brown and Louisa Phelps.
