....Mrs. Christ Logan was buried last Friday, and Miss Dorotha Thompson, a niece of Paul Thompson, Sunday. They had both been sick some time....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Gurine A. "Julia" (Ostrem) Logan was the second wife of Christian "Christ" Logan. They were married on 10 November 1883 in Scott Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. She was 17 and he was 42. According to her marriage record, she was the daughter of Andres and Ingebor Ostrem.
