Miss Malinda Pollock, daughter of Andrew Pollock living near Zearing, died January 8th, 1885, with intermittent typhoid fever. She was seventeen years old, was born in Clark county, Mo., and came to Iowa with her father's family. Two years ago she joined the M. E. Church and lived untill her death consistent with the doctrines and spirit.
