From Nevada Representative March 12, 1884

--Mrs. O. Barnes* of this City died last Friday* and her funeral services were conducted at her home Sunday afternoon by Rev. Mr. Wright. Mrs. B. has been in poor health for some time, and was severely ill during the last month of her life. She and her husband, who survives her, have been residents of the county for fifteen years or more. Her friends and neighbors will held her name in kindly remembrance.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Saloma (Koon) Barnes is referred to as "Mrs. O. Barnes" as she was married to Orlando Barnes. She died on 8 March 1884.
