Roger C. Fuller, age 71, of Rolling Green Village in Nevada, Iowa passed away peacefully on October 10, 2015. A celebration of life memorial service will be 1:00 on November 7, 2015 at the Gibson Bode Funeral Home, 202 North Main Street in Port Byron, IL.

He was born on December 22, 1943 in Moline, IL, the son of LaVerne Fuller of Rock Island, IL and Beverly Fuller Dynes of Port Byron, IL. Roger graduated from United Township High School in East Moline and later married, Deborah Alsman. With their love they had two children, Josh Fuller which has preceded his father in death and Jasen Fuller of Farmington, IL. While serving in the Navy, Roger was a dental hygienist. He belonged to the American Legion Post 1144 of Hillsdale, IL. Roger worked alongside of his step father in their family owned upholstery shop in Port Byron. Roger also worked as a maintenance man for John Deere. Much later in life Roger was blessed to find true love again with Martha Dwinnells and the couple married in October of 1977, Martha preceded him in death in May of 2015.

Roger enjoyed playing darts. He loved cards and playing euchre. Roger never gave up on his Cubs. This was the year, you know. He loved watching football especially the Chicago Bears. The last three years of his life, much to his dismay, he became a loyal Iowa State fan with his wife.
Roger is survived by his son, Jasen (Lesa) Fuller of Farmington, IL, step-children; Dianna (Kevin) Henning of Ames, IA, John (Sherry) Wright of Bessemer, AL, JoAnne Dunbar of Carbon Cliff, IL, Edith (Bill) Snyder of Erie, IL, Terry Dwinnells of Machesney Park, IL, 2 brothers; Mark Fuller of Coal Valley and Marlon(Judy) Fuller of Mesa, AZ; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger is preceded in death by his wife, both parents, step father, infant son, and one brother.
