Mrs. Elizabeth Simonson died on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the home of daughter, Mrs. Leva Lande. The funeral took place at Bethlehem church oin Friday services in charge of her pastor Rev. Nilson and burial in Bethlehem cemetery. The deceased was born and reared in Norway where also she married Thomas Simonson. In 1854 they came to this country and in 1860 settled in Story county where a long and useful life was spent. She leaves her husband, five children and 13 grand children, 8 great grand children and a large number of friends to miss her kindly presence.
