Charles L. Bryant, died February 25 at the home of his son, Joshua in this city, his funeral service was conducted on the 27 by Rev. C. D. Hougham in the Christian church, and interment was in the Richland cemetery. His age was 78 years, 9 months and 1 day. He was a native of Kentucky, lived in Illinois for some years, came to Iowa in 1852, lived on a farm in Richland township for more than thirty years, and since the death of his wife had resided with his children in and about Nevada.
