Mrs. Thompson, mother of Mrs. Ole J. Olson and K. T. Thompson died at the Ole J. Olson home in Roland last Friday of old age. Since the death of her husband a few years ago, Mrs. Thompson had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ole J. Olson. For the past few years she had been an invalid and for the most of the time was confined to her bed. Her death moved from the township one of the early settlers, a woman universally loved and respected. She was a member of Salems church and strictly devoted to the cause of the Christian religion. The funeral occurred Monday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Sandven.
