Mrs. Carrie Larson died last Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. Erickson, at Huxley. Funeral services were conducted at the house and at the Palestine church Saturday afternoon by Rev. T. Heimark of Story City. Interment was made in the Palestine cemetery. Deceased was one of the early Norwegian settlers of Story county. Her husband, Tom Larson, died many years ago, laving deceased with a family of small children to care and provide for. She has been a member of Palestine church since the time of its organization until death called her from the duties of the present life and transplanted her soul into the new life hereafter, while her earthly remains were consigned to their place among the silent inmates of the city of the dead where they await the summons of the Master and resurrection morn. She leaves to mourn her demise a brother, two daughters and four sons.
