Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Glenn was born on March 21, 1917 and raised in Blairsburg to Charles and Effie Greiner. On December 4, 1938 in Stanhope he married Arlene Mae Granby. He farmed most of his life east of Little Wall Lake and retired in 1993 and moved to Story City in 1995. They raised two sons, Lynn and Gary Greiner. Glenn enjoyed his family, visiting with his many friends and always had a story to tell. He not only was a farmer but also a carpenter.

Glenn Doolittle Greiner, 98, of Story City died July 18, 2015 at Bethany Manor in Story City.

Glenn is survived by his son, Lynn (Clarice) Greiner and their children, Kris (Shelly) Greiner, Kim (Dave) Cross and Beth (Chris) Haner; his other son Gary (Joan) Greiner and their children, Mark (Beth) Greiner, Debbie (Charles) Johnson, Doug Greiner and Susan Elsner; 18 great grandchildren; a brother Loren Greiner and a sister, Hester Flemming.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Arlene; and siblings, Lyman Greiner, Esley Greiner and Ruby Nail.
